”We can’t Live on Fake News and PR, We need Tangible Development”- Uhuru WARNED

Date:

Beyond the flood of fake news and “development” records found in the portal, it is important as a Kenyan to look at the options you have in this election.

The choice in this election is about the future of our nation. At stake is the destiny of our nation and it’s people.

For the past five years, we have been treated to sideshows by a government which confuses motion for progress.

Jubilee has signed bilateral trade deals with every country on earth; Uhuru has traveled to the capital cities and centers of power in all nations that matter on this planet; Jubilee has borrowed money from both locally and internationally; Uhuru has shaken hand to almost every important president on the planet. In spite of these motions, the Kenyan people and nation is yet to see any tangible results of these engagements, though Kshs 4 trillion has been spent.

Contrary to the magnificent pictures of progress painted at the portal, display a nation whose roads are made of gold, in which food is affordable, every child has a laptop, every home is lit with electricity, all youths are employed, and whose citizens travel in modern trains, the reality on the ground is different.

Far from the Zootopian Republic described by Jubilee and their supporters, there is a nation called kenya, whose citizens are struggling everyday to make ends meet. In this country, highly qualified and educated citizens have no jobs; teachers and doctors are not paid livable wages as they had negotiated with their government.

In this Republic of Kenya, a nation of 43 tribes, the government is mainly made up of people from two tribes. Tenders are given to relatives of those in power; the roads are horrible; children learn under trees; their farmers are given fake fertilizers; and it’s people are fed Cow feed. The cost of living in this nation is high and the prices of the basic foodstuffs is beyond reach of many people.

The president of this Republic is Uhuru Kenyatta and his government is called Jubilee. That same government that confuses motion for progress.

As you reflect on the occurrences of the last five years. Beginning next week, I will be laying before you a solid case why I think we must change course.

I will expound on the NASA agenda for our nation and where we hope to be after our five years under the NASA government.

NASA is not just interested in mere motion, but true progress of our people.
