Why I consider DP Ruto interview on Citizen TV with Hussein Mohamed to be a load of Crap!
DP William Ruto used the better part of his air time trying to discredit Raila Odinga and his party ODM, telling the public how Raila is nothing. The most unfortunate part is when he spoke about the “handshake”, he could not have spoken about that. It only displayed political immaturity by trying to prove that he is powerful yet we know his power is backed by bribing MPs and using Kalenjins as political human shields.
The Rt Hon Raila Odinga has all the network around president Uhuru Kenyatta, including the president’s mother Mama Ngina, Senator Beth Mugo, Hon Ngengi Mungai (Uhuru first cousin), Muhoho Kenyatta and several of the who is who in the Mt Kenya mafia. Raila doesnt need sickly looking Ruto to reach out to them..
DP Ruto confirmed that he didn’t want the two protagonists Raila and Uhuru to reconcile and move the country forward, meaning he (Ruto) only thrives in division and tension..This man has no heart to lead a country..He didn’t care when the country was losing millions cause of that political tension since he was making billions from tenders.
Such primitive greed will not propel him to State House, He spent more time talking about his relationship with the president, boot-licking a man who has publicly dumped him. How does that help him to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta? Ruto should be told that Kenya nyans are not stupid, we know who he is, we laugh at his lies and charm offensive but deep inside Kenyans are scared of his presidency.
If he is focusing on history to discredit Raila, he should be reminded of the Kiambaa church incident the 2007/8 election chaos which hundrens lost lives in his backyard. Ruto is a demagogue no less. Hiyo kiburi yake apeleke sugoi
Currently there are three people being considered for presidency come 2022 and Ruto is not one of them; dont be surprised when Raila and Uhuru endorse Prof Kivutha Kibwana/Mukhisa Kituyi/Fred Matiangi with Dr Otiende Omollo/Engineer Eddy Njoroge as running-mate.
