Well since everyone is now talking about Moi Day.
Why cant we all talk about the evil that Moi did to our nation? Why are we afraid? Better still why do we castigate those who call out President Moi for the evils he meted on this nation? Does it mean the old do not face the Justice system? Are we not the greatest hypocrites? Calling out people grabbing land all over the country but conveniently avoiding Arap Moi who looted 1/4 of this Country arable land, Calling out those who looted Arror and Kimwarer but conveniently avoiding arap Moi who sits pretty in Kabarak, an economic terrorist and dictator who oversaw the killing of the Kenyans brightest minds and those who challenged his leadership.
The criminal is sitting pretty in Kabarak. Never seen any courtroom. But we pretend that this is a country governed by the law. We must stop. We should just contend to the fact that this country is governed by rich men and women privileged enough to loot even further while conveniently protecting their fellow partners in crime!
So this Moi day, I will spend the whole day bombarding the public with what was wrong with the Moi’s regime, reminding the Kalenjin and the country at large that we are harboring a fugitive. A man who, if we were a functioning government should be spending his remaining days sitting in Kamiti.
