A woman who is identified as Beatrice Mbayi tied a knot with her late husband William Godfrey Mukalama in Funyula Busia County.
Beatrice is a member of the contentious Jerusalem Church which is led by the Prophetess Mary Akatsa.
Before her late husband was laid to rest, The had to perform the first wedding ceremony that shocked those who attended the burial.
In a white gown, Beatrice was escorted by her fellow church members dancing towards where her late husband was lying in a casket.
The wedding was presided over by a man who also did help the bride to put a ring to the finger of the late as a symbol of their marriage.
They later held a burial ceremony immediately when they were done with the wedding ceremony.
Things are happening in this country, my people. How do you even marry a dead person? I mean it doesn’t even make sense.
