Mombasa governor H.E Ali Hassan Joho met with CORD leader Prime Minister Raila Odinga today for a state of Coast region briefing.
“Briefing the ODM Party Leader Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga on the outcome of the Malindi by-election and discussing the way forward for the party in the region”– Governor Joho posted on his Facebook page.
It is presumed that two also discussed the issue of withdraw official security for the governor and other top politicians from Coast. Also on the agenda is the credibility of IEBC and what ODM- the most popular party should do to ensure a complete overhaul before next year’s general election. The revelations by Jubilee allied party KANU that IEBC conspired with the state to massively rig the Kericho senate by-election is a shocker and CORD must act to forestall a serious post election violence in 2017.
