In this raw video, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho strongly condemns the top Jubilee leadership of Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto for their self-absorption and misplaced superiority complex.
Speaking in impeccable Swahili, a visibly angered Joho tells off the president and his deputy for their all-too-frequent use of derogatory language whenever publicly referring to CORD leaders as “those others”.
The Mombasa Governor sees this language as degrading and blames it on the Uhuruto condescending attitude toward opposition leaders. A defiant Joho says this is unacceptable and polarising, demanding that Jubilee leaders should henceforth desist patronizing the opposition since opposition leaders were also elected by Kenyan votes.
Joho insists that the country Kenya is for all of us, not just Jubilee only, and there is no way opposition will accept to be insulted and objectified as second class in their own country. Joho, who has been out of the country on official business, is reported to be organizing a major anti-IEBC demonstration in Mombasa on Monday.
