EMBARRASSING SCENES AS DP RUTO RECOMMISSIONS HOSPITAL RAILA COMMISSIONED IN THE PAST
Someone high up the Office of Governor Mvurya is playing a distasteful game of “development” with the intelligence of the people of Kwale.
Apparently, and in conspiracy with protocol people in office of the Deputy President, an order was issued and they removed an old comemmorative plaque that indicated the Rt Hon. Raila Odinga commissioned the Lunga Lunga Hospital in his capacity as Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya. The plaque has been replaced with a new one that indicates DP Ruto has commissioned Lunga Lunga Hospital. This is happening as I type these lines.
Pictures on Governor Mvurya page today show a refurbished hospital and a neatly laid out red carpet for DP Ruto who has recommissioned what was already commissioned by Raila.
Given that the refurbishment was done by devolved funds through the county government, one wonders the interest of the national executive on this project.
What is worse is that DP Ruto, as Red-card captain, strongly opposed the current Constitution that introduced devolved system of government which People of Kwale and other Kenyans supported by majority.
So today the County Government of Kwale is playing a psychological game with voters by facilitating an official relaunch and recommission of a project that was already launched and commissioned.
It’s shows Jubilee politics is pathetically hollow and starved of existing projects. Four years now Jubilee have cummulatively used their tyranny of foolishness and greed to approve what is cummulatively ten trillion shilling budgets yet they have zero projects on the ground to launch. Embarassing is an understatement!
