In recent times, there has been growing public unease regarding the issue of abductions. These incidents have not only caused significant distress to the families affected but have also raised broader concerns about public trust in our security institutions.
As a patriotic citizen, I am deeply committed to the stability and well-being of our country. It is with this in mind that I humbly reach out to your esteemed office to propose solutions that could effectively address this challenge. Over the years, I have studied security frameworks and observed innovative methods that could be applied to mitigate such issues. I am confident that my insights, when implemented, could help reduce these occurrences and restore confidence in the National Intelligence Service and other related agencies.
Noordin Mohamed Haji, OGW, CBS is a Kenyan lawyer and civil servant who is the current Director-General of the National Intelligence Service. He previously served as the Director of Public Prosecutions from 2018 to 2023. Haji was born in Malindi.
