After arresting and locking Rhumba Maestro Koffi Olomide for allegedly assaulting a female dancer, the government of Kenya is planning to permanently cancel his visaand deport him back to Congo.
However, a section of Kenyans is questioning the manner in which the government acted with speed to bring Koffi to book, while it is always lackadaisical when dealing with the corrupt lords of impunity.
Koffi was arrested by a contingent of more than 100 police officers and he was not armed. When a police officer turned terrorist and started to shoot at his fellow officers, why were these officers not confronting himand asked for back up? Why arrest an unarmed man like a hardcore criminal?
