Breakind sad: The wife to the former Foreign Affairs Minister the late Hon Dr Robert John Ouko has passed on, she was involved in a tragic road accident today afternoon Monday 21st August
The accident occured along Awasi Mohoroni road on her way Koru (home) from Kisumu after witnessing the swearing in ceremony of Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o as Governor of the Port City of Kisumu.
Other occupants including his son who was driving the ill fated car survived with injuries and are admitted at Aga Khan hospital Kisumu.
The late Dr Ouko was brutally murdered in Feb 1990, his body was partly burnt and top Statehouse operatives during President Moi’s regime were alleged to have masterminded the killing, sources at the time indicated that he was murdered inside Statehouse Nakuru.
Former Powerful Energy Minister the late Nicholas Biwott was speculated to behind the killing but was not charged in court. Others that were linked to the murder included then powerful Internal security PS Zachayo Cheruiyo.
August is a dark month for Kenya, we just buried Chris Msando and now Mama Christabel.
