Statehouses operatives have again managed to push Jubilee party nominations for Nairobi to Wednesday, far away from tomorrow in a move seen as a plot to allow Uthamaki candidate import voters from Kiambu and Muranga in order to defeat the popular Nairobi senator Mike Sonko.
This is how it was reported ealier on this scheme:>>>
A clever and wicked plot has been calculated to rig Senator Mike Sonko in the postponed Nairobi Jubilee nominations.
It has been established that the move to postpone the Jubilee Party nominations from Friday April 21 to Monday April 24 is aimed at giving Peter Kenneth and his Mt Kenya mafia an opportunity to import voters from Kiambu and Muranga.
It is being reported that governor Kabogo (Kiambu) and Hon Jamleck Kamau (Muranga) forced Statehouse operatives to change date for Nairobi nominations since they protested the move of exporting their supporters to Nairobi and thus made it difficulty for PK to import voters on the same day nominations will be done in Kiambu.
All Mt Kenya Counties which are Jubilee party strong holds will conduct their nominations on Friday, April 21 effectively giving Peter Kenneth an opportunity to import voters from the region to ensure he emerges victorious against Sonko. Senator Sonko is the favourite to clinch the Jubilee Ticket and there after will seek to oust ODM’s Evans Kidero during the general elections.
This is the last option for Mt Kenya mafia to get the popular Nairobi senator out of Jubilee to pave way for PK. Senator Sonko had previously rejected persuasion to step down for PK even after being offered KSh 600million which was later increased to Ksh1 billion.
Sonko has also rejected a cabinet post offered to him by State House operatives for him to quit the governor’s race in favour of Peter Kenneth. If Jubilee wins on August 8, Sonko could have been CS for the Nairobi Metropolitan Region, a new post that will be created for him. He would oversee Kiambu, Kajiado, Murang’a and Machakos counties.
The popular Senator had earlier been threatened with arrest over claims that he faked his form four certificate but the plot backfired after KNEC officials confirmed that Sonko sat for his KCSE exams at Kwale High School in 1992 and scored a descent C with only 1 E while PK scored strong D+ from the prestigious Starehe Boys Center.
