President Uhuru Kenyatta has nominated Nancy Janet Kabui Gathungu for Auditor General.
Her name has since been forwarded to the National Assembly according to a statement from State House.
Ms Gathungu was the first among the top three (3) candidates presented to President Uhuru for nomination by the Recruitment Panel.
The office of the AG fell vacant in August 2019 following the retirement of Edward Ouko after an 8-year stint.
