Its COMPLICATED for URP Rebel Hon Oscar Sudi as DP Ruto GROOMS Steve Kewa for Kapseret constituency

Date:

It is getting complicated for URP rebel Hon Oscar Sudi as DP Ruto is said to have secretly endorsed his online warrior Steve Kewa to contest for Kapseret constituency on a Jubilee ticket.

Hon Sudi a close ally of DP Ruto closed over to KANU joining Baringo Senator Hon Gideon Moi and Bomet governor H.E Isaac Ruto to campaign for former Health Minister Paul Sang in the Kericho senate by-election. DP Ruto is said to be angered by Hon Sudi’s continued “shit talking” long after the by-election was concluded.

Kewa a former UN staffer is a well known URP operative and ground strategists who is always on call for rapid assignment whenever needed by the DP. He played a significant role in the Kericho by-election.

Kewa’s candidature has already stirred up the sleepy constituency of Kapsaret with supporters celebrating even before he formally declares his interest for the seat. Unlike most of the URP MPs who were largely unknown before they made it to Bunge, Kewa is a well known national go getter who commands respect from across political and tribal divide.

He joins a list of other youthful candidates who have been tagged by DP Ruto to start laying ground work for Jubilee nominations and eventual entry to Bunge, others are Emmanuel Talam (Nandi Hills) and Nixon Korrir (Langata).
