There was drama in Kibera law courts today morning after SONU chairman Babu Owino was produced in court to answer to charges of assault. The court was parked to capacity with many others hanging outside, at some point it was contemplated to get public address system in order to afford those outside the courtroom to listen to proceedings.
The SONU President was released on sh100,000 cash bail and sh200,000 bond. Owino was represented in court by his lawyer Hon Daniel Maanzo who is also Makueni MP (CORD).
