Dear Central Kenya Natives,
There is a trend in the way you folks respond to comments on graft in Kenya. The people from this area (Central Kenya), however learned, will admit that Uhuru Kenyatta’s government is corrupt. But, they go on to add that the opposition (read Raila) is not any better and that we need completely new blood in the house.
This roping in of the opposition (Raila Odinga) in Uhuru Kenyatta’s failures is a reflection of the unexplained hatred that these people have for Raila and other people in Kenya.
Raila Odinga has never been the president of Kenya, when did we see him that corrupt while in power? The often mentioned position of prime minister he held between 2008 and 2012 was a ceremonial position with no powers whatsoever (Remember the nusu mkeka).
Furthermore, Mwai Kibaki and his Central Kenya mandarins frustrated the guy so much he could do nothing at all. So, how do you judge a man who has never had an opportunity at all?
Come out of your tribal cocoons and vote out Uhuru Kenyatta because he is the main problem in this country, he is the main architect of all these corruption scandals that you purport to criticise.
