“Anyone promising you free primary education is lying to you. It is impossible for the government of kenya to provide free primary education. Kibaki and NARC are simply playing populist politics.” -Uhuru Kenyatta, KANU Presidential Candidate-Sunday December 15, 2002.
As you all know, NARC defeated Uhuru and went on to implement free primary education as had been proposed by Raila Odinga.
The Rural Electrification program was another Raila Odinga project which Uhuru as finance minister, refused to release funds for, even after the Cabinet had approved the budget for, claiming that implementing it, will give Raila undue political mileage.
Slum upgrade project was Raila Odinga’s Idea in collaboration with UN. That too was sabotaged by Uhuru Kenyatta as finance minister, claiming that Raila would gain political mileage by providing decent and affordable housing to those who live in slums.
When Mr. Kenyatta is asking what Raila did while in government, I am left wondering what the devout catholic is talking about!!
Was he too drunk to comprehend the proceedings of cabinet meetings? Kenyans know Ruto to be a compulsive liar, and his claims that Raila has been in government for 105 years is laughable.
Anyone who stops a project that is intended to benefit Kenyans simply because he is worried of who will get political mileage, is not fit to be president.
For Raila Odinga, it’s never about who gets credit as long as Kenyans benefit and we move forward as a nation.
The media fight him, but he defended them when Jubilee wanted to swallow them.
That folks, is the man I am supporting to be president of kenya from 8/8/17.
