A day after the late Ntimama was spotted at statehouse with a handful of Maa MPs, there was a press conference at Orange House.
The hallmark of the day was the defection of immediate former ICT permanent secretary Mr. Joseph Tiampati from Jubilee to ODM.
After Mr. Odinga had received them, a journalist asked him to comment about Ntimama defection to Jubilee.
Mr. Odinga, in response to the journalist, said that he spoke to Mr. Ntimama yesterday and urged Jubilee to let the old man rest. Mr. Ntimama’s daughter, Ms Christine Lemein, a NEC member of ODM, sat a few seats to Mr. Odinga. Mr. Ntimama was firmly in ODM.
Ntimama definitely heard the same utterances from Mr. Odinga. So were kenyans through the media (get evening clips of the news on August 10). No one disputed.
Now Mr. Odinga has repeated the same during Ntimama burial that he spoke to Mr. Ntimama and the old man never mentioned to him he has switched to Jubilee.
But now; everyone is disputing. The vultures feeding on the political carcass of the old man can’t believe Mr. Odinga is repeating in death what he said while Mr. Ntimama was alive.
