Meanwhile in Lamu, the NASA coordinator claims the presidential ballot box at Mapenya polling station has been stuffed.
Zahara Shee said the ballot box had a considerable number of votes shortly before voting began on Tuesday.
“What’s the meaning of that? Will someone say we are being cry babies when we say something fishy is already going on? Why have they refused to let our agents access polling stations? Someone better do something fast,” she told journalists on Tuesday.
Party agent Mohamed Said said he provided all the required documents but he was still denied access to the station.
“If they had any problem with us they should have said so from the start. They assured us there was no problem. Why now?” he said.
But county IEBC coordinator Mohamed Adan denied the claims, adding no one was locked out of the station.
