There was drama at a funeral in Kisii when mourners heckled and literally chased a way Jubilee leaning politicians, at some point the burial service had to be stopped temporary to cool tempers as Wanainchi took upon themselves to humiliate politicians who visited Statehouse for goodies.
Here is what key leaders told mourners before some of them were drowned in heckling:>>
Hon Ambassador Prof Ongeri, former Foreign Affairs Minister– “…the house u want to join has its owners. First ask those who are inside how the hse is. Give Ongwae time to do devt. You can’t purport to be uniting people when Ongwae is out”.
Hon Richard Onyonka MP Kitutu Chache South-ODM... Very clever. He did cut short his speech after reading the ground mood BUT Nevertheless he was heckled as he assumed his seat.
Charles Nyachae, for CIC Chair and heir to Nyachae Kingdom… Shouted down when he said we should organise as other communities are doing.
The crowd booed him after insisting that Omogusii unity will proceed even in Nairobi streets. His arrogance did not help as mourners started surging forward forcing him to assume his seat.
Hon Manson Nyamweya,MP South Mugirango-ODM… Put it very clear that he isn’t in the Gusii unity drive.
He reminded those leading delegations to State House that budgetary allocations on development is not domiciled at State House but in parliament. He said he has never visited state house but there are roads being tarmacked in his constituency.
Hon Senator Chris Obure, Kisii senator-ODM;- “only 300 billion comes to the county while 2trillion remains in national govt. That’s what we are looking for at State House”. Hon Obure read the mood well and only pleaded to explain his agenda that is only developmental and not political. He said that the unity of Omogusii is available to all. He maintained that he’s still in ODM
Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o– Cord is prepared to win the 2017 elections. No stealing of votes this time round.
Jubilee is misleading Abagusii people.
John Mbadi, ODM national Chairman and MP Suba:>>-if your area isn’t developed, blame it on your MP and not state house
