The reason COVID-19 is getting under control in China and running out of control in Italy is very simple. In China hawacheki na mtu. You obey laid down COVID-19 guidelines to the letter or face the music. In Italy the liberal far right and reactionary media place civil liberties over safety. Please dear fellow countrymen and women. Lets obey government directives on Corona Virus. Failure to do so is you taking poison and expecting the government to die of the poison. I urge the police to use all means to keep Kenyans safe and save us from our self-destructive tendencies. We are too poor to afford this crazy virus
However Hon Mburu differs with Hon Kuria sharply, he says Moses is talking from the position of privilege. What he should be advocating for is the government to compel all employers to release their staff/workers by latest 3pm or 2pm. They’re still releasing them at 5pm and 2hrs is not enough to get all of them home. The matatus (especially with the 60% carriage policy) cannot accommodate all the human traffic. Moses drives himself home and therefore he is out of touch with the reality of the poor.

I fully support Kiboko mpaka watu washike adabu. But Likoni case was not about defying Curfew, but pure incompetence on the Government side.
All other cases I fully support 100 % kuchapwa. Hakuna njia ingine ya ku deal na Ujinga.
In other countries like India and South Africa, there is a total lockdown. In Uganda, Boda Bodas and matatus are banned. In Rwanda, if you defy Curfew, you are shot, siyo na kiboko, na Risasi!!!!
In Kenya, we are given a soft option by just a night Curfew, and people cannot keep it.
Do you fellows understand what Corona is about?
Do you understand that this thing can wipe out millions in a country like Kenya?
