For 55 years since independence, kenya has been ruled by a man his son, and two men that worked for the man.
In 55 years, as other nations like South Korea and Singapore moved to become economic powerhouse, ours has deteriorated and gotten worse.
Our cities are makeshift dumpsters choking on garbage; our roads become car swimming pools when it rains; millions of our youths have no jobs; we still don’t have clean drinking water; some of our children still learn under trees; some of our people still depend on relief food; and we still borrow money to pay back loans we have borrowed.
Yet our leaders drive cars worth millions, paid for by the suffering masses. We as the people must have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. A government that will strive to improve the lives of the people and not just those in power or their relathieves.
