It’s Criminal Offence to Insult Mama Ngina, State Warns
The state has moved swiftly to criminalize insulting or use of abusive words on Kenya’s First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta.
This follows DPP’s approval of charges against MP Johanna Ng’enno for allegedly using demeaning words against the First Lady and President Uhuru Kenyatta. There are also reports that Kapseret Oscar Sudi is being hunted for echoing Ng’enno’s sentiments.
Mama Ngina has been portrayed as a symbol of Unity and an embodiment of motherhood who deserves respect.
However critics have accused Mama Ngina as the source of everything wrong with Kenya. Her husband and founding President Jomo Kenyatta reportedly grabbed huge chunks of land in Rift Valley and coastal town.
Several authoritative websites including the publicly acclaimed Wikipedia are quoted saying Mama Ngina benefited immensely from the illegal ivory trade.
“In the 1970s, Ngina Kenyatta (Mama Ngina), wife of then-President, Jomo Kenyatta, and other high-level government officials were allegedly involved in an ivory-smuggling ring that transported tusks out of the country in the state private airplane”, Wikipedia.

For your correction: not all mothers are equal to a mother/mothers who give birth to thieves with thieving DNA and grow up of proceeds of loots in trillions.
There is no need to be sorry but say the truth.
This fallacy of mother should not be an issue.
