WHO WAS KABURA AND WAIGURU STEALING FOR?
By Kibet Micah Chumba
When Raila Odinga said that the Afya house scandal is Uhuru Kenyatta’s scandal, I was about to call him a conspiracy theorist, but I thought critically about the matter and kept quiet.
I don’t like the idea of calling someone a conspiracy theorist a term which is used by mainstream media to describe critical thinkers and those people who seems to have developed a sixth sense. When there was no social media, they used to kill the stories to protect their masters. But now we have got a powerful social media and if you misbehave as a mainstream media house, you close down.
Now, to be able to know what goes around in this world, you need to become a critical thinker or develop a sixth sense. I told some American friends that the Wall Street capitalists have already decided that it is Hillary Clinton who will occupy the white House and they told me to adjust my tin foil hat meaning I am a conspiracy theorist.
Let us wait for the outcome of the US election, you will call me a prophet. The who to become the next president is decided by the moneyed elites so that the person can be able to protect their interests.
So much for that. Let us look at the recent scandals in our country. When a crime occurs somewhere, one method the detectives use to detect the criminals is the use of sniffer dogs. The dogs lead the cops to the criminal who may have committed the crime. But the thugs developed a method of stopping the dogs from detecting them. They could sprinkle some sniffing tobacco on their pathway and the when the police dog arrived there, it could start sneezing and loose scent.
In the case of the scandals, the same case seems to be happening here. The Public Accounts Committee is investigating the scams.
Interestingly, all the cases seems to catch either Uhuru Kenyatta’s kin or close associates. Then, either through intimidation or threats, the they loose the corruption scent. Then, we get another dog called the EACC to lead us to the thugs who stole our money. This time, the dog leads us to Kabura then Waiguru a close associate of Uhuru Kenyatta.
The dog also seems to lose scent from there. Now, all our dogs seem to be leading us to one crime scene and they seem to lose scent from there. All our dogs seem to be leading us to Uhuru Kenyatta. I am not judging but look at it critically. Then, I am wondering how Kabura can deposit billions of shillings in her bank account and then they dissappear mysteriously in few weeks without a trace. There is a friend of mine who told me that these kinds of transaction cannot be done without a bank raising a finger.
Furthermore, the government is very wary of someone who makes a lot of money because he might end up destabilising the government. This is what brought about enmity between Moi and Kikuyu billionaires. Moi had tried to take their wealth to tame and control them, unfortunately, he did not succeed, but let us wait for the Tom and Jerry called investigations to be concluded so that we might know who is the real crook.
But I assure you comrades, waiting for these so called investigations to be concluded is tantamount to Waiting for Godot. Godot is a character in Samuel Beckett’s drama who is waited by two characters to help them. Godot never arrive and they commit suicide. Thanks comrades.
