Funny when you agree or admit that Jubilee government has failed terribly, but at the same time say that you will elect Ruto to reverse gear. What gear when he is the one that has engaged Kenya to its current gear?
You are forgetting that Ruto is the second in command. A deputy president running for an election (meaning taking over from his boss — the president) wins an election by putting on the table what he and his boss achieved during their realm. Of course the case may be different in Kenya where where people get elected depending on how much they can steal from government and destroy evidence, how many school children you can grab their play grounds, and how many people they can kill to survive economically or politically.
As deputy president, it is Ruto’s political foolhardy to campaign that things are wrong and he will make them better when elected. He is about to serve full term without raising a finger. He has not resigned to show that things are wrong. Or is he sticking around to do “business” with the government? A deputy president is principal assistant number one whose advise to the president leads to the failure or success of their administration. Ruto is by all means the reason why Uhuruto has failed, and it is or was intentional.
