The Greeks discovered static electricity in 600 BC. Which means electricity is nearly 3000 years old.
Since that discovery, the atomic bomb has been created and used, a man has been to the moon, pornography has been discovered and a mobile container of whiskey has become President of a certain African country.
Yet in those 3000 years, Kenya Power idiots haven’t discovered a way to distribute electricity competently.
I mean, someone discovered electricity, another person discovered cables, yet another discovered poles. Not to mention the hardworking Homo Sapiens who discovered sockets, switches and transformers.
Then Kenyan taxpayers simply asked the semi evolved characters at Kenya Power (who discovered nothing!) to simply use those discoveries to send electricity to our premises. Consistently. But they can’t.
Alaro, the market madman at Ahero market, has a good brain. On a good day, given a chance, he will run Kenya Power and supply stima without blaming monkeys and other apes for his incompetence. I have always suspected that Alaro also knows that anything Jubilee comes with the a dot tag pinned to it, hence the tendency to blame monkeys and other apes. That is when they are not blaming Raila Odinga!
But the one thing neither Alaro nor the Greek geniuses who discovered it 3000 years ago might not understand is; How hard is it to just distribute electricity in the Year of Our Lord 2016, when you are getting paid for it? Even though somebody already discovered COMPETENCE, why can’t Kenya Power use it?
