Open Letter To Kenya Airways
Dear Dennis Awori, Mbuvi Ngunze et al Commit Suicide If You Have Self Respect
Ambassador Awori, as the Chairman of Kenya Airways, isn’t it time you resigned with your entire Board including Michael Joseph who joined the other day? Mbuvi and your entire Executive Management, what are you still waiting for?
Kenya Airways has been bleeding non-stop. Its fall is on a spiral. Its problems are not external. All reports show that the fall of our national airlines were caused by the willful neglect, mismanagement, incompetence and sheer theft by the Board and Management.
Isn’t it shameful for the Board & Management to continue being undertakers of our national airlines? Even thieves experience epiphany and walk away from their sins. Why is it so difficult for you to walk away and let a new set of players be given a chance? Don’t you have remaining self respect? Don’t you have an iota of personal honour? Once you have presided over the total collapse of our airlines, will you walk tall amongst us?
In Japan and South Korea, those in your positions would have committed harakiri (suicide by cutting open ones stomach). Such leaders who commit harakiri preserve family honor by taking ultimate responsibility.
Messrs. Awori, Schipper, Michael Joseph, Ms. Mugane, Ms. Ogwapit, Kapkirwok, Ngunze, Vegt, Kinyanjui, Haines, Achola, Musila, Murianki and my friend Chris Diaz, if you respect Kenya, yourselves and your family, because you have no courage to commit harakiri for the shame you have made of Kenya Airways, at least take the cowards route and resign. And resign before it is too late. Soon, Keriako Tobiko will charge you with the multi-billion dollar theft, corruption and criminal negligence.
Donald.
