My name is Hon.Raila Amollo Odinga. I’m the NASA presidential candidate. NASA is a coalition of all Kenyans from all walks of lives, Teachers, nurses, security guards, women, men and the youth from across Kenya.
I have been to many parts of Kenya, where I have met many Kenyans. In Meru, people whose Lives depend on Miraa are facing tough times. In Kitale, People spend a lot of money cultivating maize, the government pays them peanuts for their harvest, only to import maize and pay thousands more than what they pay local farmers, I have been to Marakwet where security is problem and this government sent security forces and gave an order of shoot to kill, I have been in Mombasa where people are worried about the relocation of the port of Mombasa to Naivasha in the presidents land.
All this issues require solutions that will impact the common man. I offer myself as the alternative solution.
When you are face with security issues, as your president, I will not ask you “mnataka Nifanye nini?
When Facing corruption and my sister applies for tenders meant for the disabled, I will not ask you “Mnataka Nifanye Nini?
When you can’t get a job because your last name is not right or because you have no connections, as your president, I will not ask you “Mnataka Nifanye Nini?
When you are struggling with school fees and how to feed your family, I will not “Kula Nyama na wewe Ukimeza mate.
As president, I will fight for you just the same way I have fought for you and sacrificed for a better Kenya.
We need to bring the country together and realize that Kenya is bigger than two tribes, that Kenya is bigger than individuals. We need a better Kenya and I will wake up every day thinking on how I can make life better for every Kenya.
