Uhuru’s final message to Kikuyus:
“Raila akichukua uongozi, wakikuyu nyinyi mutafute shimo ya kuingia.”
The Kikuyus like the rest of Kenyans have suffered the consequences of poor leadership by the Uhuru regime. Tired, exhausted, and fatigued by the problems of unemployment; higher costs of living; shrinking and stagnant economy; higher costs of education; non functioning healthcare, many of them have openly expressed lack of motivation to participate in the 2017 presidential elections.
The Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration has not benefited them directly or indirectly as a community. In his effort to retain their support, president Uhuru Kenyatta has sponsored numerous fear mongering campaigns through his TV and Radio stations; political associates; and elected leaders from the mount Kenya by telling Kikuyus that when Raila Odinga becomes president, the Kikuyu community will be victimized.
For five years president Uhuru Kenyatta led by division, creating unnecessary tribal animosity and tension between Kenyans who have peacefully lived together and for his last political speech he chose to run back to his tribal rhetoric, hoping to instigate fear and hopefully a win.
Kenya is one nation under God. We reject fear and intimidation. We choose hope. And on 8/8/17, hope will triumph over fear; light over Darkness; and NASA over Jubilee.
God bless Kenya.
