Mt. Kenya MPs letter to President Kenyatta.
” We must be direct and truthful with you: We cannot sell Raila Odinga in our region, or indeed any other imposed Presidential candidate…” Page 6
“We hope that the issues we have raised form the agenda for consideration at Sagana. This is important if we are to make real progress in advancing your programmes and legacy.
” If not, we are afraid, this Sagana encounter will be yet another public relations talk shop, where those in attendance will collect Sh5,000 of public funds for no meaningful work done.”
“That will be unfortunate indeed, given that there is neither time nor money to waste at this point….”
“Consequently, the mountain will remain restless, dissatisfied, and defiant. ”
“Ultimately, full-blown revolt will be inevitable.” Page 11
May God Bless Your Excellency,
God Bless the people of Mt. Kenya

The letter confirms My Kenya businessmen have been thriving on counterfeit goods and tax evasion. A Raila presidency will straighten administration and give equal room for all Kenyans something they loath to their bone marrow.
The tone of the letter treats other Kenyans as sojourners with no rights to the national resources and longs for governance through cartel-like conduits giving advantage to certain zones or tribes in accessing national resources.
Tribal chauvinism is at the peak but forgetting that Raila has been winning elections without Mt. Kenya votes. What Kenyans need be told is whether presidency shall be attained by the power of the vote, machinations of the deep state or otherwise so that no more time and resources are wasted on BBI or political chinenigans in the guise of fooling Kenyans on good for nothing make-do unity and peace that nobody is serious about. The problem here is the lack of political good will to make this country a democratic and equal opportunity state..
Mt. Kenya need prepare to see themselves like other Kenyans not relying on looted state resources to lord it over other Kenyans.
No wonder they can’t see the dangers of the hustler movement going overboard and turning against them over time as poverty in other communities awakens tribal hatred and revolt. By supporting the fake hustler, the movement will metamorphose into other monsters that may turn against them. While they whine about the frustrations of the Moi era, didn’t they at one time see Moi as a passing cloud?
They need heed the president’s wisdom andforesight charting way forward for their peaceful coexistence with all other Kenyan communities rather than go confrontational against the interests of other Kenyans. One great attribute of President Uhuru is he sees things for what they truly are and tackles them for the good of the country. He is the most amiable president Kenya will ever have and only reason for the mt kenya revolt is he’s seeing the country first. It should not be lost to their memories how the less than one month’s Kambas resistance 2018 barring charcoal and sand mining activities affected their business.
Kenya is for all Kenyans and no tribal grouping lays claim to national resources as if other communities are their inferiors. Integration of interests and equity is the only way to peace.
Let the MPs localise their defiance and revolt to their own internal politics but stop imagining, threatening and/or creating Mau mau like wars to further disrupt the already messed up socioeconomic life of Kenyans.
As they voted jubilee into power twice, all that they are now complaining against were apparent. The Auditor Generals reports and various activists including Jacob Juma had indicated the economy was set to collapse, the mass media reported daily cases of looting public resources and misplaced investment priorities.. where did the MPs expect the treasury to get funds for the failed big four agenda?
You told us to live on our saliva as you feast on our meat, where did you expect more meat to come from to satisfy your avarice?
We need not even make a stupid attempt to blame covid-19 for economic failures, we had already covered enough ground into the mess and our avarice still pushed us to steal from the sick and dying covid-19 patients/victims.
