Everyone knows in their heart of hearts that the recent utterances by the Kiambu Governor William Gitau Kabogo is the unspoken truth.It is a fact to contend with from both sides of the political divide.
Central Kenya has never supported a candidate from any other region,there is no single indicator signaling a behavioral change ; not now & definitely not in 2022.
Of course Mr.Kabogo will receive a lot of flack from his tribesmen & kinsmen for two reasons:-
1. Stating a mere fact. An irrefutable truth.
2. Speaking the obvious…..albeit too early.
Expect Central Kenya political Hawks to descend on Kabogo discrediting his statement & even disowning him for shaking a fragile marriage held together with binds of lies,deceit & greed.
Pay attention to the eerie loud silence from the Rift Valley,where they too know the truth but the morbid fear of the repercussions of anyone daring to dissect & analyze the truth is held in a bubble.
This was stated earlier by non other than President Uhuru Kenyatta who once stated
“I can guarantee you my vote , I can’t guarantee you the vote of my people” .
The truth will be revealed immediately after the general election…..win or lose Ruto will be of no use to the Central Kenya elite.Another one of their sons will be propped up & supported for the highest seat on the land……
