Tears of joy in kericho town and ainamoi village as Sonko takes Baby Scandy Chelagat back to her rural home to join her maternal parents five months after a successful cancerous surgery.
Senator Sonko whose charity and emergency response team (Sonko Rescue Team) picked baby Scandy in 2015 at the time she had been condemned to her home after local hospitals were unable to treat her eye. The Nairobi Senator managed to fly her to India where she underwent surgery of her cancerous eye.
There was pandemonium in Ainamoi village within Kericho town when Sonko arrived with baby Scandy accompany by local leaders.
