WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LUO NATION, WE ARE GOING WRONG.

No Tribe has ever abandoned one of their own like we have done,..
When Uhuru KENYATTA was held at the Hague for criminal offences related to 2007 election, Kikuyu Leaders and MPs ganged up condemned the ICC Prosecutor and even travelled abroad in their numbers to be in Solidarity with their son.
Similarly, When Deputy President William RUTO was held at Hague for allegedly causing 2007 post election violence. The Kalenjin Council of Elders stood firmly with him. Rift Valley MPs mobilised themselves and accompanied their leader to the Hague. Not even his Arch Political rival Gideon MOI was left behind.
In a sharp contrast, here comes the LUO NATION. Our gallant son, a blameless man, barrister and a global citizen is blocked from entering the country, he’s persecuted, he’s deported each passing day, he’s poisoned by the State, he’s dumped in a foreign country. He’s suffering for our own good. He has confessed his life is in grave danger and that he might be murdered. Seems like a mafia conspiracy.
But here we are, Some quiet and comfortable, Some condemning him, Leaders just watching, nobody is concerned. Just blame games among our leaders, no one has travelled to see him. He’s dying in absolute isolation.
The LUO COUNCIL OF ELDERS is a great shame to our pride and Culture as a people. It’s not serving the interest of the LUO people but that of individuals.
We are doomed!
