Show me a time Uhuru won without State Machinery behind him?

2002; He was a Moi preferred successor, and in the process won Gatundu. Became Official Opposition Leader, and after a series of losses abandoned the suffering Kenyan people and as an Official Opposition Leader defected to the Kibaki’s government and became silent for the rest of his tenure(unheard of in the Westminster model of Parliamentary Democracy).

2007: As part of the Kibaki Government campaign team, he was re-elected as Gatundu MP, state machinery was behind him.

2013: He was the state candidate. It was clear to see that anyone who swore allegiance to him like then Katoo Ole Metito, Jamleck Kamau and Njeru Githae were immediately awarded plum ministerial position by Kibaki. Kibaki also hived off Mudavadi from Raila’s ODM by pretending that MM was his preferred successor. The entire Office of the President machinery like then Security PS Kimemia, Chief of Defense Gen. Karangi, and Mutea Iringo exerted their influence in favor of Uhuru. It was obvious that the state machinery was solidly behind Uhuru in 2013. That is how Jubilee managed to rig in 2013, to win with a support of only 2 tribes.

2017: He is the president and using incumbency to order flimsy investigations into his opponents in the middle of a campaign season. Police are being used to intimidate NASA supporters. Raila recently exposed a scheme to use the County Administration and the Military to rig in 2017. Raila also reported that an advance team of 100 officers has been sent to Western to terrorize residents for purposes of rigging in August. Journalists being intimidated with Nation Media Group’s Walter Menya being arrested under very unclear circumstances after exposing civil servants who are bankrolling the activities of a “Political Action Committee(PAC)” called Friends of Jubilee Foundation.

Uhuru doesn’t know any other way of winning without the state machinery. He has never won without state machinery. He lost Gatundu to Moses Mwihia in 1997, despite having the Kenyatta surname, and the disposal of the entire state rigging machine behind him.
