Dear Uhuru, Victims Of 2017 Police Extra Judicial Killings Deserve Honest Apology, Not FAKE PR Gimmick

On President Uhuru’s Fake Apology
By Albert Nyakundi Amenya aka The Banana Peddler

I have repeatedly said that Karma is a bitch and poetic justice is a bastard. I have also said time without number that Kenyans are the most useful idiots that can be deceived anyhow, anywhere, anytime. Penultimate day, I saw Uhuru Kenyatta pretentiously apologizing to those he might have offended and yesteryear during campaigns. President Uhuru Kenyatta is not honest to himself. Only idiots were incensed by that inherent paradox christened as apology by Uhuru.

You see, when you want to apologize sincerely, you don’t begin with “IF’ I offended you”. You go straight to the point and begin by a confession “I know I have wronged you, please find it in your heart to forgive me” Again, we all know that innocent people were killed by the police. Why did the president not apologize to their families? Don’t they deserve an apology too? Why would he apologize only to those that he might have said things that offended them and not those that were killed by the police? Karma is a bitch and poetic justice is a bastard.

Before you are swayed by Kenyatta’s purported apology, ask yourself if there something more fundamental to the apology that needs to be deconstructed beyond surface indications. In my opinion, surface realities mask subterranean truth more particularly in this priori apology. It is more than just a sincere apology. Only time will tell. But remember Karma is a bitch and poetic justice is a bastard.

As a human being, I readily acknowledge that no man is perfect. We all have our Achilles’ heel Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have theirs too. But when it comes to apologizing, let us be sincere. Let President Uhuru Kenyatta say “Under my watch, innocent people died and I sincerely apologize to their families. I want to assure each and every one of them that they will be compensated handsomely by my government” By so doing, he will turn a new leaf and have a piece of mind. But going by the cosmetic apology he made in parliament, his words did not go beyond the roofs of that August House. Otherwise, Karma is a bitch and poetic justice is a bastard.
