PRESS STATEMENT;
Today angry youths from the entire Kisii region held a demonstration protesting the act of a few greedy individuals going to state house pretending that they are representing the omogusii yet they are selling our community.
It should be noted that the Nyachae team that went to state house some days ago does not represent the face of Omogusii for the following reasons;
1. Our governor was not involved
2. Youths were not involved
3. Gender bias. Women were not involved.
4. A number of mps like Manson Oyongo were not invited
5. No open agenda was shared as to what they went to do in state house
In so doing we conclude that;
1. The nyachae team went to state house to sell our community
2. The Nyachae team are using the Kisii name to enrich themselves as they have done before
3. The Nyachae team are using the kisii name to undermine others politically
3. The Nyachae team are tearing apart our Unity
Conclusion, the Nyachae team should cease to use the Omogusii name for their selfish ambition. If they believe and want unity; all stakeholders should be involved.
