Dear Meru County residents
Our people are suffering because of poor service delivery, poor facilities, lack of water and other vital necessities that are needed to ease their burden in life.Am baffled to see Kinoru stadium in ruins, to learn of hundreds of millions of development funds unaccounted for, to learn of an ECD classroom that has been constructed at a tune of 1.2 million by the County Government up from the initial construction cost of Ksh 450,000.
The probase roads now cost 49 million shillings per kilometer up from 30 million and not forgetting the alleged 7 million worth of curtains. The fraud in the County Government has reached unprecedented levels and cannot be condoned anymore.
It is for this reason that I hereby announce that for MERU TO BECOME GREAT MUNYA MUST GO!
I KIRAITU MURUNGI officially declare that after much consultations with the people of Meru, I have decided that come 2017 I will run for the position of Meru County Governor.
Munya has done his best but I can do his best better.I am ready and willing to sacrifice myself to liberate our County from bad leadership and corruption that has threatened to bring it down to its knees.I urge our people to walk with me in this journey and for sure change will be inevitable. Thank you and may God bless Meru.
