Hundreds of youth this afternoon stormed Nazareth Hospital in Kiambu over detention of a body belonging to a Cobbler due to unpaid medical bill.

The cobbler by the name of Joseph Mwangi Wanjirû was admitted at Nazareth Hospital in Kiambu in July and died in August and since then his body has been detained at the hospital’s mortuary.

The family failed to raise the medical bill which has been accumulating and is now at Sh 185,000 leading to the detention of the body.

The youths want the hospital to release the body unconditionally and bury it at Dumberi Public cemetery on Tuesday.
