JOHO LEADS LAP OF HONOUR AFTER WHITEWASHING JUBILEE IN BY-ELECTIONS
Deputy Party Leader of ODM H. E Hassan Joho and Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi together with a leading Lang’ata parliamentary aspirant Ahmed Papa, the nerve centre of the recent successful ODM Malindi campaign, are pictured here getting ready to join a highly anticipated road-show that will start at Shanzu from 2pm with brief stop overs at Bombolulu and Kongowea culminating with a mammoth public rally at the Treasury Square in Mombasa.
Joho and Kingi are celebrating beating a combined force of Jubilee top leadership backed up by the Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa, in the highly contested Malindi by-election that saw President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto camp in Malindi for weeks seeking support after poaching an ODM member of Parliament for appointment as cabinet secretary.
