Dear classmate who sits at the front of the class(near the teacher)with a blue pen,red pen,a ruler,pencil and a 200 pages exercise book for a three month course, receive greetings from us backbenchers,who come to class with a fullscap-on a good day-since many times,we arrive in class then remember that we forgot our book and pen. And we have never forgotten to carry water,popcornS and crisps.
For many years we have been in school,we have never bought a ruler let alone a pencil.Wait! Apart from mathematics exams that say ho! measure the distance from here to there,where else does one need a ruler?
Anyway we backbenchers are doing well.By that we mean we have been on Whatsapp, Facebook,Twitter and replied to a dozen messages when you people were attentive.Praise God none of us has been thrown out of class or use of phones banned in class.
The reason for Writing this short letter is to ask you to teach us your tricks. How is it possible for a learner to listen for four hours without looking at his/her phone? Are you people normal?To add on that,you never run out of questions. Where do you get questions to ask teachers? When half the lesson some of us are trying to figure out what the lesson is about.
In one lesson you have asked questions that we have never asked in all our schooling years. We ask you to lend us one question so that we can surprise everybody.So that because of us rather than our question,the whole class can came to a standstill and everybody(as its assumed)can ponder on our question.This will help us be known in class(since we are unknown and invisible)and consequently raise our below the sea level self esteem.
We look forward to your positive response(a piece of paper passed to us during class time with the requested question).
