Will Ordinary Kikuyu and Kalenjin JOIN other Kenyans to PROTEST Against 5BILLION STOLEN in Ministry of Health?

While hundreds of helpless cancer patients from across the country writhe in pain on the cold floors along the corridors of Kenyatta National Hospital waiting for their turns at the dilapidated but country’s only affordable (public) radiotherapy machine, with thousands more painfully but quietly losing their lives daily in the far flung rural villages across the country for being unable to access cancer screening and treatment facilities.

Some smart technocrats within the Jubilee administration,by just a click on the mouse of their computers, are syphoning off billions of shillings enough to equip each of the eight former provincial hospitals with state of the art cancer screening and radiotherapy machines………

In a normal country where people are collectively driven by conscience, benevolence and morality, these costly financial scandals that keep sprouting out of this government would have pushed people to drop their ethnic tags, drop their smartphones and laptops and jam our streets to demand for action, and the thieves would be rotting in jail as we speak .Unfortunately, not Kenya.

Here,we resort to our laptops and smartphones to trend silly hash tags for days on end as we exchange virulent tribal barbs in defense of or against the thieves, depending on our tribal relations.

Then the government takes advantage of our meekness and promises “thorough investigations” which go on indefinitely until we forget a 5bn.Kshs. heist and jump into another……
