Prime Minister Raila Odinga has reiterated that he supports ODM candidate Samwel Kenani Omwando as opposed to FORD KENYA’s incumbent Richard Momoima Onyonka in the upcoming Kitutu Chache South Constituency by-election.
Speaking on behalf of Raila at St. Joseph’s Primary School Nyabururu ODM National Chairman John Mbadi said Baba has confidence in his own Man Samwel Omwando and asked the people to vote for him.
There were speculations that that the PM was supporting hon Onyonka who is currently chasing his third term in parliament, something that had sparked confusion among ODM supporters, Kisii chapter thus accusing their party leader of disloyalty.
Political pundits have however given Jubilee man Anthony Kibagendi an upper hand following the division in NASA.
According to political analyst Richard Bosire, NASA will lose the seat for fielding three candidates against Jubilee’s one candidate. It remains to be seen how things will unfold on 7
