”Uhuru Requests Poor Kenyans To Mpesa Solai Dam Victims, Disaster Fund for Corrupt Deals Only”- Hon Mwangi

Date:

By Boniface Mwangi

Kenya’s national budget is Sh2 trillion. We will spend Sh1.2 billion on the Geneva envoy’s residence. We will spend 1.7 billon to pay MP’s pension. Yet, in a shameful twist, President Uhuru Kenyatta doesn’t have money to support POOR VICTIMS of the Patel Dam tragedy – his government has opened an M-pesa paybill to fundraise for them.

I am sure that Patel has hundreds of millions in his account and the land is worth billions. Use that to compensate the victims and survivors. Hii tabia ya ku-protect criminal tycoons tutawacha!

Lastly, President Uhuru was quick to send condolences to victims of terror in Paris, but stays dead silent when poor people die in his own country. In Nakuru, 44 confirmed dead, over 40 people still missing, more than 5,000 families left homeless, but Uhuru is shamelessly silent apart from the paybill number his government is sharing.

Patel and the people whose criminal shortcuts made the tragedy possible are roaming free while the search for the missing continues.
