Nairobi ex-Majority Leader MCA Guyo’s camp breaks into clerk’s office, steal crucial documents.
Police have arrested Nairobi City County Assembly Principal Human Resource officer Nancy Mutai over theft of crucial documents and laptops at the Assembly.
Nancy is being held at Central Police station together a sergeant at arm who also took part in the burglary.
According to eye witnesses, Nancy and a sergeant at arms were spotted breaking into the Nairobi County Assembly Clerk Jacob Ngwele’s office where they took away laptops and crucial documents.
The incident comes just days after ouster of Abdi Guyo as Majority Leader of the Nairobi City County Assembly.
Jubilee Chairman Raphael Tuju has summoned Nairobi MCAs for a meeting on Wednesday to resolve the standoff.
However, social media was full of reports that Police are looking for Abdi Guyo and Former Acting Speaker Chege Mwaura in connection with break-in.
