President Uhuru Kenyatta and his brother the supreme leader leader Raila Odinga took a break from their hectic schedules and danced the night away during the UB40 live concert on Saturday night at the Carnivore grounds in Nairobi.
The two leaders surprised many when they joined other reggae enthusiasts at the Carnivore grounds to attend the legendary UK reggae band UB40 live concert dubbed ‘Real Labour of Love 40th-anniversary tour of Kenya’.
UB40 is Uhuru Kenyatta’s favorite music band while Raila is a fun of Harry Belafonte. It is alleged that President Uhuru had jokingly challenged his Statehouse deputy director in charge of events (MC) one BigTed Kwaka to organise a UB40 live concert which he took a year to organise.
Uhuru had earlier on Saturday attended various functions in Kirinyaga and Meru counties while Raila had spent the day in Kitui county leading a BBI consultative forum.
