BREAKING: Uhuru to Arrives in Huruma as Frustrated Public DEMANDS for Answers on HOAX Disaster body NDOC

News flash: President Uhuru Kenyatta expected to visit the Huruma site as rescue efforts continue under the stewardship of RED CROSS.

Now this is where my anger activates: Does anyone know of or heard about the Kenya National Disaster Operations Centre (NDOC)? This is Kenya’s premier agency in matters disaster preparedness and management. It is domiciled in the Ministry of Devolution and Planning drawing colossal sums of funds from the Exchequer but no one can see their impact anywhere.

In developed countries that we admire, the National and local governments disaster agencies are well equipped to respond to disasters depending on the magnitude.

Isn’t it time we converted Red Cross into a state agency?

In our public policy class we interrogated the effectiveness of this agency and 4 years down the line the situation remains the same.
