CORD Leader Raila Odinga has said the announcement by President Uhuru that Jubilee will form a special committee to spearhead dialogue is welcome
The former premier who has been pushing for the dialogue, told KTN by phone that the President’s directive was welcome.
Raila noted that Cord is ready for dialogue and believes it will help.
But he said: “We will respond to the development tomorrow. We are going to consult after seeing the content of the statement.”
Indeed the statement by Uhuru doesn’t say much and perhaps it will take a call from Statehouse to explain Jubilee’s offer for dialogue. And therefore Raila is perfectly in order to be cautious.
