All is not well for Jubilee party in Kisii, the area women have threatened to hold massive demonstrations to protest exclusion from the Uhuru campaign team.
At the recently convened Jubilee NGC at Bomas of Kenya presided by Uhuru, a seven man team was named to spearhead Uhuru campaign in Gusii region and it was an all male list to be led by Charles Nyachae and Hon Jim Angwenyi.

We the women of Kenya and especially Nyanza region have noted with deep concern, the composition of the Nyanza Campaign team for the Jubilee Party.
There are no women in the team!!! How does it escape the party leadership that women are over 53% of the voters in most parts of the region? Dear president Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Samoei Ruto, my team and I urge you to re-look the composition of the team and include some of the most formidable women from the Kisii and Nyamira Regions that can move masses.
We seek an expansion of the team so as not to give the public a bad impression that we don’t appreciate the contribution of women in the electoral process.
