National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) says the government will pull down inciting social media platforms and prosecute bloggers for engaging in hate speech and incitement.
The commission said it was concerned that some people were using social sites to perpetrate hatred among communities ahead of the 2017 General Election
Chief Executive (CEO) Mr. Hassan Mohammed says they have summoned several bloggers to appear before the commission next week.
Mohammed says the commission will not allow few individuals to use , Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and others, to threaten and incite Kenyans.
