DP RUTO LIES REJECTED AT THE COAST
Yesterday was an hectic day for DP William RUTO in Mombasa County, stronghold of the Coast Kingpin His Excellence Governor Hassan Ali JOHO.
Uhuru Jubilee party has been on a charm offensive through rallies and re-launching old projects in the region withan aim of gaining support and may be top up votes to at least 20%, President Uhuru and his DP Ruto have led all past Jubilee events.
However, yesterday it was the day that they were to launch a certain project called LIKONI DMA WATER PROJECT, a project initiated by the county government of Mombasa since water is a devolved function typically this project was been financed by french government via the national government of kenya treasury ministry moreover the Mombasa Governor Hon. Joho and Water Cabinet Secretary Hon. Eugene Wamalwa had signed the project in Paris, France last year but DP Ruto and his Jubilee coastal tour entrouge wanted to ride on that county government project to win votes.
Nevertheless, County Government of Mombasa plus Likoni subcounty residents learnt of the ill motive of Jubilee Government to ride on that project and this rekindled their acrimony through the intelligience DP Ruto learnt of it and contacted the Governor Joho himself in the morning after learning that Joho was to attend the said launch of the project and set things clears, both DP Ruto and Water CS Eugene Wamalwa begged Governor Joho on phone not to attend the launch ceremony, it was later agreed that both Nairobi and Mombasa county governments should agree on how the launch will be done.
Well, DP Ruto who thought he had fooled Governor Joho proceeded to the event to politic and boy shit hit the fan, he was received with much hostility than he expected. He was heckled and forced to cut short his speech.
