Chaos in Jubilee aspirants meeting in Bomet, Faroek Kibet and NEB official Leah Ntimama narrowly escaped a thorough beating, police officers had to whisk them away to safety. The two were accused of providing ballot papers to governor aspirant Hon Joyce Laboso to pre-mark and stuff them boxes (rigging) in order to defeat Hon Julius Kones.
Yesterday we exclusively reported that Farouk Kibet was Bomet County dishing out cash, he chaired a meeting with Bomet County Jubilee Elections officials at the Twiggs Hotel with intention of influencing them to declare Hon Joyce Laboso the winner of nominations for Governor seat. Hon Labosa is the MP for Sotik and also deputy Speaker of the National Assembly
The DP dispatched Farouk to make sure Laboso is the winner even thiough he (DP Ruto) was quoted saying Hon Laboso is weak to take on Isaac Ruto. Too bad for Dr Julius Kones the former MP for Konoin as he will be rigged out..
